  • Dr. Daniel is the Principal Dentist and Founder of Causeway Smile Dental. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Melaka Manipal Medical College (MMMC), where two enriching years in India gave him valuable exposure to diverse dental cases and clinical practices. Trained under the globally recognized Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (USA), Dr. Daniel also holds a Fellowship from the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE, Singapore), a leading dental organization in the Asia Pacific.
  • This fellowship reflects his commitment to continuous learning and advancing his expertise, particularly in implant dentistry. With a strong interest in Orthodontics, Dr. Daniel has completed multiple aligner training programs, including Invisalign, allowing him to offer patients discreet and effective teeth-straightening solutions.

Went there for my wisdom teeth for the first time let me tell you how comfortable I am to the doctor and the nurse as well. The dental clinic is very comfortable and spacious with all-round equipments. You may watch Disneyplus or other programmes while getting the treatments. Will definitely come back here whenever I need to thank you again Dr. Phuah for the amazing job you did. Highly recommend for all.

Dr Phuah is the best dentist in JB ever! Passionate, skilled and professional. Dr. Phuah did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and tooth-filling. He always gives very insightful suggestions to assure me and extra thoughts on my situation, so my teeth issues have been treated well under his care. The dental clinic is very comfortable and spacious with all-round equipments. You may watch Disneyplus or other programmes while getting the treatments. Whenever I need to get my teeth treated, Dr. Phuah will amazingly appear in my mind. Highly recommend for all.

We have recently relocated to Senibong Cove from the UK and after looking up dental practice in the area, The Cove Dental came up in the search. Despite the clinic is quite a trek from where we are, given the Google reviews, we decided to travel across town to give it a go. Very much to our surprise, this dental practice run by Dr Hey and Dr Phuah turns out to be the best one we have visited over the years in different places! The set up is very relaxing, staff are friendly and there are little touches throughout the clinic that are extremely children friendly. Absolutely love the idea of having Netflix and Disneyplus to watch while getting scaling, polishing and fillings done. Most importantly, the price is highly competitive. Think we have found the dental practice that we will attend regularly while we are in JB and in the future, will also be happy to make this trip a nice day out to explore the selection of shops in the surrounding Educity!

Stumbled onto this dental clinic by chance on google. Clinic is new, spacious and looks luxurious. Greeted with a friendly male dentist who did his work professionally. Scaling and polishing in 30 minutes. Minimal pain and discomfort. Looking forward for return visit.

A visit to the dentist has always been very much dreaded, even after almost 6 decades of my life. But surprisingly, Cove Dental has proven to be the most pleasant experience for me. Dr Sebastian Phuah is certainly the most professional, gentle and carefully detailed dentist I have ever come across. Thanks to him, I was able to sit at ease in that much dreaded dentist chair. Good looks aside, Dr Phuah has got superb dental skills and equally superb PR skills...highly recommended for all, especially the older folks like me
